Rumoured iPhone 5 Launch Date
Posted on 12 May 2013
Apple is very cautious to keep release dates of their next iPhone model close to their chest. Bloggers, magazines, newspapers and tech industry experts are energetic with speculation around the release date of the iPhone 5. But to be quite frank it is only speculation at this time. Whilst Apple will not shed any light on this topic, many within the industry think we may see signs of the iPhone 5 model hitting shelves late 2012. Apple is always reluctant to release any dates to the general public as it reduces the sell-ability of the current model; in this instance the iPhone 4s. It’s a strategic measure to ensure demand, hype and price are kept within control of the company. We can only wonder what new iPhone 5 features may be included in the next model. No doubt there will still be those hoping for extra battery life, USB ports, edge to edge display and external memory slots. Continuing the Apple iPhone 5 launch rumours, additional speculation within the industry suggest Apple plans to shear millimetres off the shape mainly due to component development of the camera and screen. However; whilst there is a craving for smart phones like the iPhone 5 to continue to become slimmer than the prior generation it will become ever more difficult due to component development within other aspects.
